HERMES

Within the Petit h department at Hermès, creation is constructed this way: rather than being born from an idea for which a material must be found, it is the material itself that inspires creation. Founded by Pascale Mussard based on an innovative approach to reuse, Petit h brings together designers, artisans, and artists to give a second life to materials from the Hermès workshops, transforming them into exceptional, one-of-a-kind objects.

As a product development assistant, I contributed to the design and creation of these unique pieces, orchestrating the dialogue between creativity and craftsmanship. My role was to translate the artists' vision into tangible objects, collaborating closely with Hermès artisans and, when necessary, integrating external expertise such as glassmaking or cabinetmaking.

This work of exploration and transformation aimed to enhance the material while respecting the House's standards of excellence, giving rise to creations where innovation and craftsmanship poetically intertwine.

I have had the chance to develop unique pieces for artists and designers such as Adrien Rovero, Florence Bourrel, Geoffroy de Virieu and Julien Demanche.
